TLDR Microneedles with enhancer effectively promote hair growth and increase hair density.
The study aimed to develop a transdermal delivery system for finasteride to treat androgenetic alopecia using powder-carrying microneedles with a diffusion enhancer. The system showed a higher efficacy in promoting hair growth and increased the amount and density of hair while addressing safety concerns. The study demonstrated the potential of the system as a transdermal delivery system for finasteride to treat androgenetic alopecia.
