TLDR Asthimajjapachak Churna (AMC) is more effective for reducing hair fall than Shwadamshtradi Rasayana Churna (SRC).
The study conducted a randomized open-label trial on 60 young females aged 21-30 years experiencing hair fall, comparing the efficacy of two Ayurvedic formulations: Asthimajjapachak Churna (AMC) and Shwadamshtradi Rasayana Churna (SRC). Participants in Group A received AMC, while Group B received SRC, both administered with ghee and honey for 30 days. The results showed that Group A experienced a 58.45% therapeutic relief, significantly higher than the 35.94% in Group B. The study concluded that alleviating Asthigata dosha, particularly in Group A, may promote healthy hair formation, highlighting the potential of AMC in managing hair fall more effectively than SRC.
