5 / 1000+ resultsresearch Low-Molecular-Weight Fish Collagen Peptide Enhances Hair Regrowth via Activation of Proliferative Signaling and Suppression of Inhibitory Pathways
The study examined the effects of low-molecular-weight fish collagen peptide (SH-GT) on hair regrowth in a mouse model, involving 9 mice per group. SH-GT was administered orally at doses of 100, 300, and 600 mg/kg for 28 days, resulting in significant hair regrowth, increased dermal thickness, and higher hair follicle density. SH-GT activated proliferative signaling pathways, including Wnt/β-catenin and PI3K/Akt/mTOR, while suppressing inhibitory pathways like BMP/Smad. It also increased the expression of growth factors such as IGF-1, HGF, VEGF, EGF, and FGF7, suggesting SH-GT as a potential functional ingredient for promoting hair growth. Further research, including human trials, is recommended.

5 / 1000+ resultscommunity Hair regrowth without drugs (99% natural) 25M
A user shared their experience with hair regrowth using supplements like NAC and DIM, and briefly using minoxidil with microneedling. They reported some improvement in hair density, but the community questioned the effectiveness compared to traditional treatments like finasteride.
community As in this research, i have seen many who advise a regular use of VitaminD, even if you are not deficient. Once i had read in tressless that mpb and Vitamin D might have a correlation. So could it be an a benefit to add this to your ongoing treatment plan?
People discussed using vitamin D supplements for hair loss, with some also using steroid injections, pumpkin seed oil, saw palmetto, and zinc. Despite supplementation, one user noted no improvement in hair condition, but acknowledged the general health benefits of addressing vitamin D deficiency.
community Discussion on Finasteride and life.
Finasteride can aid hair regrowth but may cause side effects like depression and sexual dysfunction. Users discuss experiences with finasteride, minoxidil, and RU58841, highlighting varied responses and the importance of informed treatment choices.
community Dutasteride SAVES your hair follicles: MAJOR BS on people who say it destroyed their hair permanently.
The conversation discusses the effectiveness of hair loss treatments, specifically finasteride and dutasteride. The conclusion is that dutasteride significantly reduces DHT levels and may be more effective than finasteride for long-term hair retention, with some users reporting personal experiences and side effects.
community Why can’t we just do another creatine study?
Creatine may worsen hair loss in some, especially with androgenic alopecia, but evidence is mixed. Some users experience no hair loss when using creatine with minoxidil and finasteride, while others notice increased shedding.
