5 / 1000+ resultsresearch Skin Improvement Efficacy of Microspicule Cosmetics Containing Low-Molecular-Weight Peptide Complexes
The study investigated the skin improvement efficacy of microspicule cosmetics containing low-molecular-weight peptide complexes. An in vitro test showed excellent cell viability and a 23.62% inhibition rate of melanogenesis at 0.1% concentration. A human application test on 20 adults aged 30–59 over 4 weeks revealed significant improvements in skin whitening, pore improvement, and skin barrier enhancement, with the experimental group showing superior results compared to the comparison group. The findings suggest that microspicules enhance the transdermal absorption of active ingredients, strengthening the skin barrier and providing a basis for optimizing spicule purification techniques and cosmetic formulations for skin safety and efficacy.
research Molecular Modeling of Hair Keratin/Peptide Complex: Using MM-PBSA Calculations to Describe Experimental Binding Results
Electrostatic interactions mainly stabilize the binding of peptides to hair keratin.
research The Human Tri-Peptide GHK and Tissue Remodeling
The peptide GHK-Cu helps heal and remodel tissue, improves skin and hair health, and has potential for treating age-related inflammatory diseases.
research Autosomal Ichthyosis With Hypotrichosis Syndrome Displays Low Matriptase Proteolytic Activity and Is Phenocopied in ST14 Hypomorphic Mice
Reduced matriptase activity causes skin and hair issues in both humans and mice.

Hair loss treatments, specifically the use of finasteride, microneedling and potentially oral minoxidil. People discussed their experiences with finasteride, its effects on sexual behaviors, as well as potential solutions such as tadalafil or using other growth factor signal peptides for hope in curing male pattern baldness.
community Creatine is the opposite of minoxidil !
Creatine may counteract minoxidil's hair growth effects by closing potassium ATP channels, potentially leading to hair loss in predisposed individuals. Despite anecdotal reports, there is no conclusive evidence linking creatine to hair loss.
community 24M Considering Hair Transplant. Trying What Feels Like Everything, To No Avail.
A 24-year-old male is considering a hair transplant after unsuccessful attempts with oral minoxidil, topical finasteride, ketoconazole shampoo, and lifestyle changes. He believes smoking and caffeine may worsen his hair loss and is looking into hair fibers for temporary coverage.
community Compressed part of research of theory of androgenic/anabolitic balance. AGA h-responders analytic. Theory of physio-metabolitic method of anti AGA treatment
The treatment for androgenetic alopecia involves using finasteride and minoxidil with intense exercise and cold exposure to boost metabolism and reduce androgenic effects, potentially leading to hair regrowth. This approach may activate biological pathways for improved hair and overall health.
community Bryan (the guy who reversed aging) shares treatment that reversed his hair loss
A person improved hair loss from Norwood 3 to Norwood 2 using a topical formula with minoxidil, dutasteride, and tretinoin, plus oral minoxidil and red light therapy. There is skepticism about the treatment's effectiveness and concerns about misleading comparison photos.
