research Low-Molecular-Weight Fish Collagen Peptide Enhances Hair Regrowth via Activation of Proliferative Signaling and Suppression of Inhibitory Pathways
The study examined the effects of low-molecular-weight fish collagen peptide (SH-GT) on hair regrowth in a mouse model, involving 9 mice per group. SH-GT was administered orally at doses of 100, 300, and 600 mg/kg for 28 days, resulting in significant hair regrowth, increased dermal thickness, and higher hair follicle density. SH-GT activated proliferative signaling pathways, including Wnt/β-catenin and PI3K/Akt/mTOR, while suppressing inhibitory pathways like BMP/Smad. It also increased the expression of growth factors such as IGF-1, HGF, VEGF, EGF, and FGF7, suggesting SH-GT as a potential functional ingredient for promoting hair growth. Further research, including human trials, is recommended.

5 / 1000+ resultscommunity Short Peptides for Hair Loss: anyone tried any of these?
Various peptides are discussed for treating male pattern baldness, with some available for topical use like GHK-Cu and Ac-KGHK, while others remain in research stages. Users are interested in experiences and sourcing these treatments.
community Physician here AMA – 30M oral Fin 1-1.25 mg daily
Hair loss treatments, specifically the use of finasteride, microneedling and potentially oral minoxidil. People discussed their experiences with finasteride, its effects on sexual behaviors, as well as potential solutions such as tadalafil or using other growth factor signal peptides for hope in curing male pattern baldness.
community Bryan (the guy who reversed aging) shares treatment that reversed his hair loss
A person improved hair loss from Norwood 3 to Norwood 2 using a topical formula with minoxidil, dutasteride, and tretinoin, plus oral minoxidil and red light therapy. There is skepticism about the treatment's effectiveness and concerns about misleading comparison photos.
community Topical T3 study - 1000% Growth. Anyone tried it?
The conversation discusses using T3 (triiodothyronine) as a topical treatment for hair growth, with some users noting it showed promising results in studies but lacked follow-up. Users express interest in trying T3 due to its potential effectiveness compared to Minoxidil.
community Microneedling aftercare advice
Microneedling aftercare involves using saline water instead of sea water, and avoiding hyaluronic acid due to its potential pro-inflammatory effects. Users suggest using jojoba oil as a carrier for essential oils like rosemary and lavender, and combining microneedling with minoxidil for better hair regrowth results.
