Results showed that in severe AA cases (SALT score 50–94), 70% with short duration and 61% with long duration achieved initial improvement (SALT30) by Week 24, with 75% and 65% reaching treatment success (SALT score ≤ 20) by Week 52. In very severe AA cases (SALT score 95–100), 42% with short duration and 25% with long duration achieved SALT30 by Week 24, leading to 58% and 43% achieving treatment success by Week 52. The findings suggest that treatment should continue for at least 1 year before determining failure, especially in very severe cases.
