This study presents a multifunctional hydrogel, PBCTS@PNF, designed for advanced wound healing. The hydrogel, synthesized using PVA-borax, silk fibroin, tannic acid, and chitosan, incorporates total saponins from Panax notoginseng flower buds, offering antibacterial, antioxidant, and regenerative properties. It demonstrated high inhibition rates against E. coli (84.30%) and S. aureus (98.12%), and animal experiments showed it significantly reduced inflammation and promoted tissue regeneration, including re-epithelialization, neovascularization, and hair follicle regeneration. This hydrogel represents a promising therapeutic platform for wound management through its synergistic antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and regenerative effects.
