The CD3 complex is a group of proteins found on the surface of T cells, which are a type of white blood cell crucial for the immune system. These proteins work together to help the T cell recognize and respond to foreign invaders, such as viruses or bacteria, by transmitting signals from the cell surface to its interior, initiating an immune response.
