The patient developed AA after receiving infliximab for CD, which did not improve with topical treatments. Upon switching to tofacitinib, the patient experienced significant hair regrowth within 1 month and complete resolution by 8 months, while maintaining clinical remission of CD. This case suggests that tofacitinib is an effective treatment for both AA and CD in pediatric patients, highlighting its potential use in similar cases.
