The study focuses on developing a herbal hair dye using natural ingredients, particularly Barleria prionitis flower, known for its hair-darkening and strengthening properties. The dye, formulated with henna, hibiscus flower, amla fruit, beetroot, and Barleria prionitis, underwent various tests for quality, stability, and efficacy. Results showed that the dye had good stability and quality, with Barleria prionitis enhancing color intensity, uniformity, and conditioning. The study concludes that this herbal hair dye is a safe, effective, and natural alternative to chemical dyes, meeting pharmacopoeial standards.
