Both treatments were administered every four weeks over 24 weeks. Results showed that hyperpigmentation occurred in 6 patients treated with the dermaroller and 9 patients treated with the fractional CO2 laser. Itching was not observed as a complication in the dermaroller group, whereas a small percentage of patients in the fractional CO2 laser group experienced itching due to scab peeling post-treatment.
