May 2026 in “bioRxiv (Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory)” UT-018, a stem cell chemoattractant formulation, has shown significant regenerative effects in murine models, accelerating wound repair and promoting hair follicle regeneration. The topical application of UT-018 led to faster wound closure, improved tissue formation, better collagen organization, increased fibroblast activity, and enhanced blood vessel formation in the skin. In hair growth studies, UT-018 increased follicular density, promoted deeper follicle penetration, and induced the transition to the anagen phase, which is the active growth phase of hair. These effects are linked to strong intracellular cAMP generation and β-catenin phosphorylation, indicating GPCR-mediated regenerative signaling.
