The study on scalp micropigmentation (SMP) education in Korea highlights significant variability in training programs, with a lack of standardized educational systems leading to disparities in educational quality. A survey of 303 SMP practitioners revealed that satisfaction was highest in practical training, followed by theoretical training, with hygiene and infection control training receiving the lowest satisfaction scores. Positive correlations were found among all training domains, particularly between theoretical and practical training. The findings emphasize the need for a standardized curriculum that integrates theory, practical skills, and hygiene to enhance professionalism and safety in SMP education.
