The process involves oxidative stress, DNA damage, inflammation, and collagen breakdown. Recent therapeutic strategies, including antioxidants, senolytics, stem cell therapy, and epigenetic modifications, show promise in mitigating skin aging. Additionally, herbal topical preparations with bioactive compounds are effective and safe. These novel approaches target various molecular pathways and offer promising solutions for treating skin aging.
