The study investigates the formulation of gels using Equisetum arvense (L.) extract, known for its traditional use in treating skin diseases and hair loss. The researchers prepared gels with 10% and 12% E. arvense extract using methyl cellulose and hydroxypropyl cellulose as gelling agents. The consistency of these gels was measured with a rotary rheometer.
