TLDR The chili pepper shampoo was safe and well-liked by volunteers.
The study focused on a shampoo containing biopolymer microspheres and a hydroalcoholic extract of Capsicum frutescens L. (chili pepper) for treating androgenic alopecia. Physical and chemical analyses, including total ash, pH, density, and capsaicin identification, were conducted. Microbiological tests ensured the product's safety. Sensory quality was evaluated by volunteers, who found the exfoliating microspheres well-tolerated and beneficial for local oxygenation.
