This study explored the effects of phototherapy using red and blue light wavelengths on androgenetic alopecia (AAG) in 2 female volunteers. Over 12 weekly sessions, one volunteer was treated with red light (660 nm) and the other with blue light (440 nm). Both treatments improved hair density and reduced hair part width. The red light showed a more noticeable visual improvement, while the blue light also reduced scalp inflammation and seborrhea. No adverse effects were reported, suggesting that phototherapy could be a safe and effective treatment option for AAG.
