This review addresses the use of autologous platelet concentrates, such as platelet-rich plasma, for treating androgenetic alopecia, a condition marked by hair loss and follicle miniaturization. Despite their growing use in hair restoration, these therapies lack a unified framework and clear understanding of their molecular mechanisms. The review highlights the optimization of platelet concentrates and suggests extracellular vesicles as crucial mediators in future treatments. It introduces the four core principles of "Instant Autologous Regenerative Medicine" and emphasizes the need for standardization and further research to enhance the clinical application of these regenerative therapies.
