    The review discusses the therapeutic potential of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in regenerative medicine, highlighting its ability to enhance tissue repair and regeneration through the release of growth factors and cytokines. PRP has expanded from its initial use in managing thrombocytopenia to applications in dermatology, neurology, orthopedics, nerve regeneration, dentistry, and skin aging treatment. Despite its promise, PRP therapy faces challenges due to inconsistencies in preparation methods, which affect its standardization and clinical efficacy. The review provides a multidisciplinary overview of recent advancements in PRP preparation and addresses issues related to standardization, ethical considerations, and future research directions, aiming to improve clinical outcomes and broaden PRP's therapeutic use.
