The study found that dupilumab significantly improved symptoms, with the mean Worst Itch Numeric Rating Scale (WI-NRS) score decreasing from 8.7 to 1.7, and 86.8% of patients achieving a ≥4-point reduction by week 104. Additionally, 81.2% of patients reached an Investigator Global Assessment for PN-Stage (IGA PN-S) of 0/1. The Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) improved from 17.4 to 2.6. Dupilumab was well tolerated, with only 2.9% discontinuing due to adverse events, and no cancer progression or viral reactivation observed. The study supports dupilumab as a long-term treatment option for moderate-to-severe PN, even in elderly and comorbid patients.
